First Workshop, comin' right up!!

Today I scheduled my very first Stampin' Up workshop, since I've become a demonstrator. OK, so it's my roomie that's hosting it for me, but HEY...gotta get the ball rolling somehow! We've decided that we will invite mostly people who have not been to a SU workshop in a long time, or people who don't currently have a SU demonstrator! I'm getting anxious to add some names to my customer list!! (And if YOU would like to come to the workshop, we'd LOVE to have you...Tuesday, June2nd, at 6:30).
If any of you out there would like to order anything, and you don't already have a demonstrator, please keep me in mind!! I would be happy to order for you, or you can order from the SU website. Also, if any of you need a catalog, please let me know! I have some on hand that I would like to sell before the new catalog comes out in July. REMEMBER....even though the new catalog is coming out, the current catalog is very handy also, as an idea book.
In other news....got my truck fixed today...getting the mower fixed today...and got lots of yard work done, which is SUPER exciting!! So nice to be able to put on the capris and flip-flops and get my fingers in the dirt!! Summer really is coming soon...I hope!!

Stampin' Up...

I've finally done it...today I became a Stampin' Up demonstrator....with the BEST Upline anyone could have...Jan Farring! I've already got ideas flowing through my mind, and have even made a thank you gift for my first hostess...whoever that may be!! Want to plan a card party?? Want to have it at your house? My house? It's a good way to get loads of free stuff from Stampin' Up!! Call me, Facebook me, text me, email me, or send  smoke signals, if you are interested in hosting a card party!!

Card Makin'...

Yay!! Making cards with the new craft room is SO much fun! I know right where to go for every stamp I need, the ink pads are all together, and for anything else, I can go right to it without having to look behind, under, or on top of ANYthing!! Yahoo!! Sat down yesterday and made a dozen cards for a friend that had surgery this last week. They are all Thank You cards, since I'm pretty sure that during her 4-6 weeks of recovery, cards such as this will come in handy!! Now, hopefully she doesn't read this post until AFTER I've given them to her! I will post pictures of them AFTER I give them to her!

Craft Room Progress...

This Craft Room dream of ours has been such a fun HUGE project, it seems! But yesterday, we got a TON done in there! I bought a rub-on transfer to go on the wall that looks adorable, and is perfect for a Craft Room...."These are a few of my favorite things", so I got that put up. We got stuff put away, and thrown away; we finished 'Project: Organize Rubber Stamps'; put some ribbon along the edge of the shelves to 'girl them up' a bit; put all of our overflowing photo boxes together in ONE place;put this up there, and that over there; and of course, stopped to look through a ton of pictures from when the boys were little, along the way!! It was fun, rewarding, and a bit tiring, but we're so close to being done with that room!! (and then all of my chatter about working ON the Craft Room, will change to working IN the Craft Room!! Yahoo!!) :)
The boys had a fun craft day themselves...they made cards for "Grammie" and I, painted wood projects they've bought, made little beaded projects (the kind you iron to melt together), glued googly-eyes to puff balls to make funny little characters, and practiced drawing with their "How to draw Dogs" book! I think the boys are loving this project of ours...we're uncovering all sorts of fun craft things for them!

Tomorrow

Super excited to get to go spend some time with my mom tomorrow, in Gresham. We're gonna meet at Starbucks, hang out there for a bit, then do some shopping! After that, I'm headed to Oregon City to pick up the boys to spend the rest of their Spring Break with us! Here's hoping the pass is good, since I'll be by myself! Looking forward to some good times with the boys, since we'll have them for longer than usual! Pictures to come....

New to this...

Hmm..I think I finally figured this out! Even got a somewhat cutesy background! However, still haven't come up with a catchy title for my blog!! Anyone wanna help me out??
